Brunelleschi completed it in 1436 with the elegant dome. To the right of the cathedral rises the Bell Tower, or Campanile, designed by Giotto in 1334.
In Rome you admire the beautiful Papal Basilica of Saint Peter, commonly known as St. Peter’s Basilica, a Late Renaissance church located within the Vatican City.
